Not limited to just the birth itself. In fairly recent times we are seeing more people seeking support to help to process what they have experienced during their birth and postpartum days and weeks. Wether you deem it as traumatic, challenging, or just not a pleasant experience, we are here to help you process what you experienced.

When it comes to the after effects of a challenging birth/postpartum experience, it could be a physical injury, a mental and emotional health shock, leaving you with pain, discomfort, low mood, trouble sleeping, intrusive thoughts or other. Please know that you deserve to, and can, feel better.
Trauma. Stop comparing your trauma with others. Stop doing that to yourself. Saying that the other person has been through more, so you just repress your own feelings. There's nothing like 'more painful'. Pain is pain. It's a small scar or a bigger one. You still bleed, don't you?

Emotional Support
Lena Mackenzie is our resident Perinatal Mental Health specialist. Working with parents for 18 years in the birth world, Lena is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Mindfulness & Meditation Facilitator, NLP Master Practitioner, EFT Practitioner, Relationship Coach & Holistic Family Sleep Consultant.
Lena meets you were you are at in your journey. If you would like to talk through your experience to help you to process what occurred and how you feel, she will hold that space for you. If, however, you are tired of talking, or it is too painful to, she has tools and experience to help you feel grounded, calm, and will help you to process the experience content free, if you would prefer.
Physical Healing
If your healing needs are more physical, we've got you.
Helen Wright is our resident Mizan Practitioner, which is a wonderful asset to healing after a surgical birth experience, for example. Cesarean scar tissue can cause issues internally, such as adhesions, and this abdominal massage is frequently used to help release scar tissue and fascia to help your body regain balance and health.
Aisha Mir is our resident Women's Health Osteopath. Specialising in pelvic issues, internal myofascial release. Helping release scar tissue after tears/episiotomy, bladder or bowel issues, for example.
Whatever your need post birth, we are here to support you.
